What do you make of the conversation between Charbonneau and Captain Lewis? It seemed a little suspicious to me. What was Charbonneau after? Did he have an ulterior motive?
I thought that the conversation was a little suspicious also, and I think that I think that Charbonneau is just going to trick the Captain by taking Bird Woman with him and then he will try to run away with her.
I think also he was trying to trick the Captain by taking Bird Woman and leave and run away with her and I think that Charbonneau would not get away with it, because the Captain's are more wise than Charbonneau.

ReplyDeleteI think he was trying to stay so he could be lazy well the expedition walked the mountains.I think Charbonneau would not get away with it.
