June 14, 1805

At the end of this chapter, Seaman thinks, "I think this was among the happiest days the Captain ever had."  Why do you suppose Seaman felt that way?

  2. I thought Seaman said that because Captain Lewis made a Grizzly and a Buffalo and killed a baby cow, which he left for the Grizzly.

  4. i think Seaman got the feeling that he was happy because he might have showed that he was happy and Seaman picked it up.

  5. I think he felt this way because they saw a grizzly and a buffalo and killed a calf which he fed to they grizzly to get him away.

  10. I think he thought he was so happy because he saw a buffalo and a grizzly bear and shot a baby cow but he had to give it to the grizzly so he did not get chased.
