March 30, 1805
At this point in the story, do you think it was wise for the captains to accept Charbonneau back in the expedition? Do you think he will stay with them? Please explain why you think what you do.
I don't think it was wise because Charbonneau is a horrible person and I think he will betray him agian. I think he will not stay because he will eventually get thrown off because no body can stand him.
I thought it was a bad idea because he will probably slack off and do no work. I think he will eventually get kicked out of the expedition because nobody likes that he is so lazy.
I think that it was not a wise choice because he is most likely to not be a help. Then he would get sent home, or have to face a punishment. Then Bird Women would most likely be happy, because as I recall she did not like him.
I think it was wise because they need Sacagewea to guide them.As we all know Sacagewea was a vital part in the expedition.Sacagewea would have destroyed Charbonneau because she would have had to go with him.
