Do you understand the shift in setting on pages 83 and 84? Please explain what you think is going on here in terms of the story.
I got a little confused but after I reread it I under stood it. Colters eyes are getting tired so he will start the story after he gets rest. he gave the book to Mountain dog. Mountain dog and Droulliard went buffalo hunting and ate it and checked on Colter.
I had to re-read it a couple of times because it just confused me. What happened was Colters eyes are getting tired, so he hands the book to Watkuweis who hands it to Mountain dog and they leave. The next day, Droulliard finds Mountain dog hunting for buffalos, so he helps. Then Droulliard and Mountain dog go to the tent to have Colter start reading.
This confused me I also had to re-read,but what happens is that Colter starts getting tired,so he falls asleep. The next day Drioulliard see's Mountain Dog hunting for buffalo and he helps.Then Drioulliard invites them into their tent.Then Colter starts reading.

ReplyDeleteI sort of got confused, but after hearing the other characters named I adjusted pretty fast and I knew that there was a setting change.
ReplyDeleteI got confused and i had to re-read it, and after I did that I understood. If I did not re-read I probably would not of understood.
