As the winter weather gets worse, and the men and horses grow weaker from lack of food, Captains Lewis and Clark devise a plan to deal with their desperate situation. What is your understanding of that plan?
One team went went to find food and the other team followed at a slower pace.

ReplyDeleteOne group would go hunt and fish and the other group would follow a slower pace so the groups do not get too separated.
ReplyDeleteOne group of the better hunters would go on and the other would follow at a slower pace so the would not get separated.
