What role did Watkuweis play when Captain Lewis and his men arrived at the Nez Perce camp?
I don't really understand some of these responses. You need to reread pages 230-231 and think about what she did and said, and respond again, making sure you read your writing.
Watkuweis told off the other indians when they were talking about killing the group and taking their weapons.She said "Bad talking leads to bad actions."
Watkuweis was playing peace maker because he was talking to the indians saying that bad talk leads to bad actions so she was sticking up for the white men.
He talked to them about hunting and trading.
