Up to this point in the story, how are you finding it different with the story being told from a dog's point of view? How do you expect this to influence the telling of the story as you read on? Please cite specific examples from the text to support your thinking for the first question.

I find it different being told from a dogs point of view because, when Seaman was saying that he could understand humans better than they will ever understand him. I thought that was kind of cool because it made me think differently about dogs. I expect this to be different because the dog, Seaman, will tell you about how easy and how hard it is to be a dog living on a Keelboat.
ReplyDeleteI find it different Being told from a dogs point of view because I have always read books from humans point of view and with this book I like that it was changed and told from a dogs point of view. Also when Seaman and was being pet behind the ears I forgot and I thought the human was being let behind the ears. With this being told by a dogs point of view it will influence me to appreciate dogs more because when Brady was saying that dogs can almost understand humans and they can understand everything they say I realized that dogs are smarter than they look. Also so far I like the book
ReplyDeleteI find it different being told from a dogs point on view because, I have not really read book from a dogs point of view before.At first it was confusing, but I am getting used to it now.Also when the the dog (Seaman) was saying that he can understand humans better than they can ever understand him I had a new perspective on dogs. So far the book is fairly interesting.
ReplyDeleteTelling the story from the dog's point of view is different because I found that it was very hard to understand who was talking at what point in the book. For example, at one point, when Seaman was being sold, the point of view kept changing between Seaman and Captain Lewis. I expect this to influence the way in which I read this story because you are able to see what the dog is thinking. In other books involving a dog the person is the only one who has their thoughts spoken. I think this is unfair because humans aren't the only living thing in this world and dogs have feelings too.

ReplyDeleteThis book will also influence me in the way I read the book byi will always be on the look out in other books by what charecters point of view.
ReplyDeleteI think the story is much better from the dogs point of view because in a lot of other books I read, it is by the persons point of view, but if there is a dog in the story I would want to know what it is thinking, but sometimes the book confused me. I didn't know if it was the person or the dogs thinking, but after i read it over another time, and the I would find out.
